Best Days and Times to Visit

- Pre-file online if possible. TM.47 and TM30 online reduce the burden on offices during peak days.
- Bring two complete sets of documents. Immigration staff make photocopies. Having duplicates ready speeds things up.
- Arrive at 8:30 AM. Queue numbers are handed out until 9:30 or 10 AM. Getting there early guarantees you are in the system for the day.
- Bring your phone fully charged. You may need to pay fees via QR code or PromptPay while waiting.

- TM.47 deadline is 15 days before your 90 days are up, or 7 days after.
- Most people file between days 15–22 of the month (roughly matching the 15-day-before window).
- Visa extensions follow a similar pattern, with people filing just before their stamp expires.
- Early month is quiet because few people have deadlines on days 1–9.
