90-Day Reporting Checklist

Before You File

If you stay in Thailand for more than 90 days on any visa, you must report to immigration. This is a mandatory requirement—missing your deadline can result in fines or other complications. Use this checklist to gather everything you need before filing your TM.47 report.

Know your 90-day deadline date

Count 90 days from your entry stamp date, file 7–14 days before

Original passport with current entry stamp

Immigration verifies entry date from this

TM.47 form completed (if filing in person)

Printable from immigration office or our resources

Decide on filing method (in-person or online)

In-person required for first report; subsequent can be online

Proof of current address (optional but recommended)

Utility bill, TM.30, or rental agreement

Confirm immigration office hours and location

Chiang Mai: Mae Rim, Mon–Fri 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Have your TDAC number ready (if filing online)

From your arrival card; check TM.30 or confirmation email

Print or save confirmation after filing

Keep digital or paper copy for your records
